Zakat Appeal
Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam that must be met by the Muslims who meet the certain criteria. Sharing your zakat can change the world. You can share your zakat with the most vulnerable people. You can relieve someone’s hunger, quench someone’s thirst, ease someone’s burden, and end someone’s struggle.
There are eight categories of beneficiaries who are eligible to receive Zakat, which are clearly stated in the Quran (Surah At – Taubah:60) Allah (swt) says in this verse: “Zakat expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those who are employed to collect (zakat) and for bringing hearts together (for Islam) and to free captives (or slaves) and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the (stranded) travelers- an obligation (imposed) by Allah. And Allah is knowing and Wise.”
A Bedouin came to the Prophet (pbuh) and said: Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise. If I do it. “The prophet (pbuh) said: “Worship Allah, and worship none along with Him, offer the (five) prescribed compulsory prayers perfectly, pay the compulsory Zakat, and fast the month of Ramadan.”(Bukhari)
We believe you will donate your zakat and thus be with us to support the needy , destitute and the orphans with food, income generation & shelter.
